The StarCraft II trilogy is Blizzard Entertainment's military sci-fi RTS saga for PC, told across three releases: Wings of Liberty (2010), focused on the Terrans; Heart of the Swarm (2013), centered on the Zerg; and Legacy of the Void (2015), concluding the story with the Protoss.

Expansions & DLC

Wings of Liberty (2010)

The base game and first chapter, following Terran rebel commander Jim Raynor as he wages a personal war against the Dominion and uncovers the Zerg's growing threat.

Heart of the Swarm (2013)

The second chapter, told from the Zerg side as Sarah Kerrigan reclaims her identity as the Queen of Blades and rebuilds the swarm.

Legacy of the Void (2015)

The concluding chapter, following the Protoss under Hierarch Artanis as they unite their fractured people against the ancient threat of Amon.

Nova Covert Ops (2016)

A stand-alone, nine-mission campaign released as three separately purchasable mission packs between March and November 2016. It follows psionic operative Nova Terra as she uncovers a plot by the insurrectionist Defenders of Man to destabilize the Terran Dominion using Zerg-provoking Psi-Emitters, exploring her fight for autonomy after years as a mind-controlled Ghost agent.
