Shadow Complex

Shadow Complex is Chair Entertainment's Metroid-inspired action game, released on Xbox Live Arcade on August 19, 2009 and published by Microsoft Game Studios (with Epic Games backing the Unreal Engine 3 tech). Presented in 2.5D, it sends a lone hero into a hidden underground military complex to rescue his girlfriend and unravel a coup plot, unlocking new equipment that opens up previously blocked paths across an interconnected map. A visually overhauled Shadow Complex Remastered followed on Xbox One in March 2016.
